Reggie Fils-Aime Disappointed By E3 Transformation News, But Wants It To Be A Digital Show

Former Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime has shared his thoughts on the E3 2021 plan that was recently leaked–and he’s not very excited about it.

In an interview with GamerTag Radio, Fils-Aime said the ESA–which organizes E3 every year–is on the right track by making E3 2021 a digital show. However, the nature in which it has been described so far leaves a lot to be desired in Fils-Aime’s eyes. As the president of Nintendo of America, Fils-Aime sat at the table and worked alongside his industry peers to discuss a plan for E3, but he no longer works at Nintendo and is outside of those conversations. Still, Fils-Aime said he has a number of ideas for how E3 2021 could go ahead as a digital show, with publishers and fans alike getting something good out of it.

Red Dead Online New Update Blood Money Announced

Red Dead Online will get a new summer update titled Blood Money on July 13, with a first trailer dropping on July 7. [The trailer is now available, along with much more detail about the mission types and rewards in Blood Money, which is out now.]

Not much is known about Blood Money currently, but Rockstar hinted at what the overall content of summer updates will look like in a May Red Dead Online dispatch.

Samsung Gaming Hub Streaming Service Announced With Google And Nvidia Support

Certain Samsung TV owners will soon be able to stream games without the need for an extra dongle or USB device. At this year’s CES, Samsung finally put a name to its game streaming service, which is set to launch later this year. Titled Samsung Gaming Hub, users will be able to stream games from a variety of services straight to their TV.

Currently, Samsung Gaming Hub is planned to give users access to the game libraries available on Nvidia’s GeForce Now, Google Stadia, and Utomik, though other streaming platform partnerships are planned. “We developed the Samsung Gaming Hub with our incredible content partners to benefit all gamers, and we plan to continue our collaboration to grow the ecosystem,” said Samsung Electronics’ corporate president Won-Jin Lee.
